PolyMatchMaker loves when new people join our family. New people coming to either learn about polyamory or to find more people to love. We want a fun and friendly community here. But there has always been a road block; the validation process.

The process involved filling out your profile, accepting the Terms of Service, for the website, and then waiting for an email to finish the process. But for some, the waiting is taking too long. I was dedicating too much time to help these people out. Time I'd rather be spending improving everyone's experience on here.

So on Monday there will be a new process--a simple CAPTCHA test. For those who don't know what that means, it's the squiggly-letter thing. It is becoming a very popular way for websites to validate that a real human is signing up instead of an automated script. You will be shown two words that are a little hard to read. Just type in the two words and poof--you're in!

Hopefully with this step being simplified, PolyMatchMaker will become more inviting, or at least easier for new members to join our community.
